They designed a fully functional application for the Dewey Decimal System to manage library operations and launch affiliate library systems. Their work demonstrates advanced technical skills, creativity, and practical problem-solving abilities. Key features of their project include: A dashboard for affiliates to monitor and manage library branches efficiently. A user space that displays a history of borrowed resources, improving user engagement and accountability. A color-coded classification system for books, articles, and webinars, making navigation intuitive and visually clear. The application reflects careful planning, user-centered design, and attention to detail. The students successfully combined library science principles with technology to create a tool that is both functional and scalable. Their professionalism, technical expertise, and ability to deliver a complex project are impressive. This project not only showcases their knowledge and skill but also has the potential to impact library management and accessibility significantly. In summary, the Cavendish University Zambia students have created an outstanding, practical solution that demonstrates creativity, innovation, and leadership.
